Where do you draw the line between church and cult? That's the central theme in a new play I'm involved in -- SALVATION ROAD, a serio-comedy by D.W. Gregory. The show opens July 11 in the Capital Fringe Festival and runs for five performances at Atlas Arts Center, Lab II, 1333 H St. N.E.
The story: When a talented young musician goes underground with a strange new church, her kid brother and his best friend and propelled into the heart of a deepening mystery. Is she a victim or an accomplice in her own disappearance?
Running time: 85 minutes, with no intermission. Suitable for ages 13 and up.
